60 Days Restriction

Sun Nov 1, 2009, 4:38 PM
I've been confined to the walls of my hangar bay for a little over a week now, and have until Dec. 20th before I can run with the wolves again. It's an interesting thing, being held captive by one's job. My situation is less figurative than the usual way people become prisoners of their work. So I find it a little amusing.

It has given me a great deal of time to read and work unpaid overtime.
During this first portion of restriction I have managed to research some interests of mine, which before I wasn't able to allot time to.
For instance, the Angkor Burai region in Malaysia has a very interesting history regarding the Silk Road and before. Such things as the lost city of Khmer and Fou Nan.

Other more pertinent issues such as HR 875 and the monsters @ Monsantos have come into perspective for me, as I've been forced to eat a lot of processed food lately, and my digestive system is pissed at me about it.

Then this leads me to less relevant but equally interesting divings into the realm of Modern Hidden agendas by such people as the Carlyle Group, NAFTA and their god damn Super Highway plans, the dissolution of European nations via the Euro, and of course the prospective Amero, and that wretched unAmerican group known as the Federal Reserve.

All of this has inspired some fun doodles and small drawings, which I am, unfortunately, unable to upload until the main thrust of the holiday season. They'll be my Christmas gift to those who stop by.

Love you all!
David

Polar Bear by Puscifer:

I see you chipping away again
Your own icicle island
Haul it alone, the lies and the bone
Hoping to fade and disappear into the white
A Polar Bear

A moat of icy water
No end in sight save your own
I know that look of fear, I'm well-aware
No need to brave it all alone
I'll be there

:::

  • Reading: Titus Crow
  • Watching: Time slip away
  • Playing: with the Heisenberg uncertainty principle
  • Eating: Garbage

Life is a strange and wonderful thing. Lets make lots of pictures!!!

I've been making art for as long as I can remember. I was never very good at realistic artwork, so I decided to teach myself how to create interesting images out of mistakes and scribbles. Over time this developed into the style I have today.

This world is conceived of the indivisible geometric principles of the great architect, the intricate design of possibility is like a network of fiber optics with infinite intersections allowing traverses in all directions of space-time. All is and can be. Or, at least I think so. So, as a result alot of my subject matter is fairly abstract and strange, to me it's like having an argument with myself. My thoughts attempting to process themselves, and resolve neuron level conflicts over my interpretation of the world...

To me this reality is just a big puzzle game thing

Thank you so much for fav'ing "Dreaming of the Cosmos." I really, really appreciate it. :) If I may ask--what was it that you liked?
